Information For Parents

Our Parent Guides

At St Paul’s Nursery, we know that choosing a Nursery for your child is a huge decision. We also know that this may be a completely new experience for you and as such some of the terminology such as ‘The EYFS’ and ‘Early Years Funding’ may be unfamiliar to you. We have therefore created a collection of Guides for Parents, which explain the curriculum and what we do at Nursery in more detail, and also some information on other topics which we hope you will find useful as your child develops and grows.

Whilst Government social distancing measures are being relaxed, it remains our absolute priority to minimise the risk of infection for all of our children, staff, families, and the local community. We have extremely robust Risk Assessments and procedures in place at our Nursery which we are pleased to share with you here.

Parent Zone App Information

St Pauls Nursery offers a platform for parents to stay up-to-date with their child’s activities and achievements from anywhere.  When your child’s at nursery, they spend all day learning, exploring and experimenting, whether they’re trying new foods or taking their first steps, with the ParentZone smartphone app, you won’t miss a single moment. Throughout the day, your Key Person will observe and record your child’s progress in their very own ParentZone Learning Journal. Please check out the parent zone app guide for more information. 30-hours free childcare and education

Children of parents meeting certain criteria will be eligible for the extended entitlement which provides an additional 570 hours of free childcare per year. This will be stretched over the full year in the same way as the 15 hours. Check your child’s eligibility for the 30 hours.

We offer a small number of 15 hours and 30 hours fully funded places – please contact the Nursery Manager for more information. Please note the fully funded places offered are on Mondays and Fridays.
